Seating policy

Please note, tables are reserved for seatings of two hours per reservation. The two hours run from the time of the booking and may not be extended by late arrivals. Reservations not honoured within 15 minutes of their booking time will be released.

Seating

Depending on availability, we can accommodate solo diners and walk-in parties at both lunch and dinner.

We have a variety of seating options available: seated tables, our ramen counter, our courtyard, at the bar, and tables looking out over Kloof Street.

Deposit

A R200 security deposit per person is held for all reservations and comes off your bill. The deposit is refundable for cancellations up to 24 hours before your seating.

Omakase

Omakase must be ordered by the whole table. Last orders are 14:00 at lunch and 21:00 at dinner.

Age limits

All ages welcome at lunch. Children 5 years and older are welcome at dinner.

Hours

Lunch — Tuesday to Saturday, seatings 12:00 to 14:30, every half hour. Last order 15:00.

Lunch — Sunday, seatings 12:00 to 15:30, every half hour. Last order 16:00.

Dinner — Tuesday to Saturday, seatings 18:00 to 22:00, every half hour. Last order 22:30.

Bar — Tuesday to Saturday, 12:00 to midnight. Sunday, 12:00 to 17:00.

Allergies

We can accommodate most dietary needs with prior notice. We cannot accommodate severe, fatal, or allium and garlic allergies, because our broths and oils contain alliums throughout. Please contact us before booking if you have a serious allergy.
